Todays car is a 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe and is finished in Ford Vermilion Red. I saw this car parked at the Waypoint Cafe at the Camarillo Airport. I know 2 trips to the Waypoint Cafe for lunch and 2 amazing cars. I have always love the looks of 40 Ford Coupes. This is a great looking car. The stance, the paint, the chrome, and the interior are perfect blend for this mild custom.
I could not get photos of the interior because of the reflection through the windows. The interior was done in Tan leather. If my memory serves me right I saw a GM 700R4 or 200R4 transmission shifter patter on the shift lever. If that is correct it most likely has a Chevrolet 350 or larger v8 moving this beauty along the highway. To validate my Chevy V8 theory there are larger tires and wheels in the rear along with size of the dual exhaust. The removal of the bumper guards give the car a clean look.
Thanks for riding along. Frank
