Today’s car is a 2021 Aston Martin DB11. It is finished in Sprint Silver. The Shadow Edition that adds blacked-out exterior details for a more sinister appearance, can only be applied to the V8 models and only 300 of them to be produced according to the company. This is a street spot that I saw in my hood, Westchester, CA. Powering the DB11 V8 is Aston’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 producing 503 horsepower. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 8-speed shiftable automatic transmission delivering that power to the rear wheels through 2.70 to 1 gear ratio. Helping slow it down are 4- wheel front and rear disc brakes with anti-lock braking system (ABS). The front suspension is double wishbone with coil springs, Bilstein shocks, and anti-roll bar. In the rear is a Multi-Link system with Bilstein shocks, and anti-roll bar. The original MSRP was $222,600.00. The total number of 2021 Aston Martin DB11 produced was 2,901. Top speed is 195 with a 0-62 mph 3.6 seconds.
This is a great touring car. For all of you have been with me for awhile, this is the last car of the “guy with all the cars” before he moved away. I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for riding along. Frank
