Todays truck is a custom 1959 Chevrolet Apache 3100 1/2 ton Stepside Pickup. This truck is owned by David Riles. The color is a great green combination, David say he calls it money $Green$. The bed detail with the matching color wood is great touch. If you have not guess Davids favorite color, yes it is green. It is powered by a 350 cu in 5.7 liter Chevy engine with a 270° cam and transfers that power through a 4-speed 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. Delivering that power to the rear wheels through 3.73 t0 1 rear end gear ratio. It has a Volare front end and the rear fenders were widen 2 inches. The original MSRP: Base Price in 1959 was $1,986.00. Total production for all 1959 Chevrolet trucks built was 353,509.
