Today’s Car is a 1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Convertible the body is done in Red and the top is done in Buckskin. The current owner is Mike Grosvenor my neighbor and good friend. This car has after market air conditioning and was built with a semi-automatic transmission. It now sports a 4 speed stick shift. The latest in antitheft devices. They came with the 1600cc and were the quickest Karmann Ghia’s, capable of 0-60 mph in about 21 seconds and a top speed of around 82 mph.
