Today’s car is a 1973 Opel Manta done in Rallye Gold. Thanks to Sandy Bettelman for sharing. The Manta A was produced between 1970 – 1975 and produced in Germany. Powered by a 1.9-litre Cam In Head (CIH) engine. The Manta came with either a four-speed manual or a three-speed TH-180 automatic. The Manta A was one of only a few Opel models sold in the US. Opels were imported by GM and sold through Buick dealerships. The Manta was known to be one of the best-handling cars in its class and went on to win a large number of rallies in Europe and the United States. This one is up on blocks and has seen better days.
What is your take is it worth keeping or not? Thanks for riding along. Frank
