Today’s car is a 1970 Iso Grifo Targa. The exterior is finished in Blue Metallic with a Light Gray leather interior. It is powered by Chevrolet Corvette 327 cu in engine, with a Carter 4 barrel carburetor, that produces 300 hp. It transfers that power through a coveted ZF 5 speed manual transmission. Delivering that power to the rear wheels with 2.88 to 1 gears. Slowing it down are 4 wheel disc brakes. The front suspension is wishbones and coil spring and in the rear is DeDion axle with twin trailing radius arms, transverse linkage bars and coil springs. The wheels are the original 7×15 inch Borrani wire wheels.
The original MSRP for a coupe was $13,448.00. The total number of Iso Grifo’s produced is 412 or from another source 471 of which 13 or 14 are Iso Grifo (Series I) Targa’s. Top speed was 171 mph and 0 to 60 mph time is 7.1 seconds .
