Today’s car is Alex’s beautiful 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. This one is usually tucked away in the garage except for Sunday trips to the Marina and an occasional car show. You guys know Alex from the Marina. Yes, you always hear his car before you see it. What a great sound. And no he did not tone it down!!!
This is the second generation of Camaro. The car is equipped with a LT-1 that has been bored, hotter cam, aluminum heads and produces 515 HP. Other than that the car is original, the block, 4 speed transmission, interior and sheet metal. The car is done in Tuxedo Black the Stripes are in Classic White. I believe Tuxedo Black was a rare color in 1970.
