Today’s car is a 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC owned by Mike Kerns. I saw this car at “The Best of French and Italian Car Show” held in Woodley Park, Van Nuys, CA. This gorgeous Pininfarina design is finished in Rosso Cina with a Black leather interior. It is powered by a 300 hp, 242.1 cu in, 4.0 liter, aluminum alloy Colombo V12, with 3 Weber 40 DCZ/6 2-barrel carburetors mated to a 5-speed manual transaxle with 3.44:1 rear axle gear ratio. Slowing this beauty down is servo-assisted 4-wheel disc brakes. It has independent front suspension with coil springs, lower wishbone, and an anti-roll bar. The rear suspension has coil springs, trailing arm, lower wishbone. and an anti-roll bar. The car includes Campagnolo alloy wheels with three-eared knock-offs, air conditioning, power windows, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio.
The Ferrari 330 GTCs were produced between 1966 and 1968 with 598 units built. The MSRP was $14,195.00. The published top speed was 143 mph with a 0 to 60 time of 6.9 seconds. This is a beautiful example of a Gran Turismo (GT) Italian sports car. With all the beautiful cars at this show, this one definitely caught my eye. Thanks for riding along. Frank
