Todays car is a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS and is finished in Charcoal Gray with Tuxedo Black interior. This is a street spot at a house that is being remodeled in the neighborhood. It is finished as a SS 350 restomod. If it is a stock a SS 350 it would be powered by a 350 cu in, 5.7 liter, small block Chevrolet V8 with 295 hp. Transferring that power through either a 3 or 4 speed manual or a 2 – speed powerglide automatic transmission. Delivering that power to the rear wheels through the standard 3.31 t0 1 rear end gear ratio or any of the optional gear ratios. Positraction was also optional. Slowing it down were ventilated disc brakes in front. The original MSRP for a Camaro SS 350 was $2,500.00. The total number of 1967 Camaro’s produced was 285,748 of which 34,411 were SS 350s.
So this is a restomod has some obvious changes. The lack of chrome except for the Foose wheels, the car has been de-badged, Looks like a taller high rise hood than stock and disc brakes all around. Glancing inside the Transmission appears to be either a 200R4 or a700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. Upgraded white faced gages, custom console, The engine and rearend are a mystery.
Nice looking restomod ready for the circuit of cars and coffee, car shows or just cruising!!! Thanks for riding along. Frank
