Today’s car is a 1960 Ford Thunderbird done in what I believe to be a non original Turquoise body color and a non original color White top. The original body colors should be Sultana Turquoise with a Corinthian White top. Decked out with it’s 1957 Dodge Lancer spinner hub caps. Personally I think it needs some period correct wide white walls to set the car off or at least have the white lettering on the inside of the tires. I know very picky this morning!!!
This is a second generation Thunderbird also called the Square Bird was produced by Ford from 1958 to 1960 model years as a successor 1955 – 1957. This entered Ford into the Personal Luxury Car market ahead of GM and Chrysler Corp.
Thanks to Sandy Bettelman for finding and sharing this 1960 T-Bird. This is a eye catching nice driver for cruising around town. Thanks for riding along. Frank
