Todays car is a 1953 Ferrari Vignale it is finished in Burgundy with a silver roof. The interior is finished in tan leather. It is powered by a 180.8 cu in, 2.96 liters, V12 engine, single over head cam (SOHC) engine fed by 3 of Weber 26 DCZ/3 carburetors, producing 200 hp. Transferring that power through a 4-speed manual transmission. To help slow this beauty down are hydraulic drums in all four corners. I love the cooling inlet and outlet details on the rear fenders. So cool. Pun intended. The o-60 time is 5.9 seconds with a top speed of 135 mph. Very nice numbers for 1953.
Not only is this a beautiful car it is a very rare car. It is 1 of 2 Vignale coups!!! What is the value of this beauty? Based on 4 auction sales. Average price $4,806,189. High price $7,260,000. Wow..
Thanks for riding along. Frank
