While at Golden Cove the British Cars and Coffee event held in Rancho Palos Verdes. I was introduced Dee whose late husband Al owned this amazing 1951 Riley Drophead. She was looking for the owner of the Morgan on display who it turn out to be me. She had in her possession a Morgan book and was wondering if I would be interested in it. I was and she gave me the book. With the collection of cars long since gone she still a few books that her husband had collected and was ready to pass them on to people that had cars that matched the books.
Dee went on to tell me what cars were in their car collection. When I heard a 1951 Riley I went on to tell her that I write a car blog and wrote an article on a Riley that I saw at this same event a couple months earlier. She went on to tell me that she had a copy of a magazine with her that had an article in which the 1951 Riley and her late husband Al were featured. I became immediately interested and asked to see the magazine. I told her that I would like to feature that article in my blog. She offered to lend me the magazine and I took it home to read the article. When I began reading the article I was amazed to see who wrote the article, none other than our friend Rick Feibusch.
