Today’s car is a 1941 Cadillac Convertible and it is finished in El Centro Green Metallic with a Tan interior, convertible top and boot. I saw this car at the Petersen Automotive Museum on September 26th. It is powered by a 346 cu in, 5.7 Liter, L head V8 engine producing 150 hp and transferring that power through a 4-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Delivering that power to the rear wheels through 3.77 t0 1 rear end gear ratio. Helping slow this baby down are Bendix super hydraulic brakes. The front suspension is knee-action and it also has front and rear ride stabilizers The original MSRP was $1,645.00 The total number of 1941 Cadillacs produced were 66,169 of which 3,100 were two-door Convertible Coupe The 0-60 mph time of 14 seconds and a top speed of approximately 100 mph.
This is a great car that is an older restoration. It is in need of a paint job and a refresh or If you like the patina you can drive it as is to cars and coffee, car shows, or just for a cruise. Thanks for traveling along. Frank
