I saw this car at the French / Italian car show at Woodley Park in Van Nuys, CA parked in the spectator parking lot. It is powered by a 350 cu in, 5.7 liter V8 Chevy engine. To slow it down are disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. The original MSRP was $680.00. The total number of 1940 Fords Standards produced was 231,425 of which 150,933 were 2 Door Standard sedans.
This car has many subtle custom features, such as an one piece windshield, louvered hood, frenched headlights, shaved hood, doors, and truck lid, de-badged, removed overriders from the bumpers, blacked out grill, Boyds custom wheels, and an built in inset license plate holder in the trunk lid.
