Today’s car is a 1926 Stutz Vertical 8AA 5 passenger sedan. It is finished in Black with a well aged patina. It is powered by a 298.0 cu in, 4.9 Liter, in line 8 cylinder, with 2 Zenith carburetors and a twin spark (2 plugs per cylinder), producing 95 hp.. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission and delivering that power to the rear wheels through worm gear rear axle with 4.75 to 1 gear ratio. Helping slow this baby down are four-wheel hydraulic brakes.. The suspension up front is solid axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs and in the rear is a live axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs. The original MSRP was $2,995.00.
I saw this car at Annual Horseless Carriage Show in Arcadia, CA. This is a perfect car for the Horseless Carriage Show and will draw a crowd at any car gathering. Thanks for riding along. Frank
